Don't get me wrong here. A little bit of stress is real beneficial to your body and mental health. Too much stress, also known as chronic stress, like everything else with this addition phrase “too much", can’t be that beneficial anymore, and quite troublesome instead. We are not taught this stress mechanism in school, not even how to recognise and deal with it. We are often caught up with life circumstances and suddenly something brings us to realize that we are under severe stress. We get panic and try all methods on the internet to cure ourselves, and sometimes with professional guidance. The thing is that the factor that causes your stress will still be there, you can fix the stress for now, but what about the long-term plan? Are you willing to keep the loop of getting in and out of stress or break the cycle for good?

Step 1: Analyze the truth by learning subtle signs of “too much” stress that do not make any sense.

First, let's examine symptoms of “too much” stress that you might neglect. Be honest with your living habits and behavioural patterns!

  • You can't remember what you have eaten for lunch. Your memory of last week activity become blurry.
  • You feel that time is flying super fast that you don’t have enough time to do anything.
