#73 How did I pass AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam without any prior knowledge on AWS?

This AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is the very first certification that get you prepared for using AWS services. Even though that this certificate suggests that you should have at least 6 months of experience using AWS services to consider taking this exam, I do not completely adhere to this suggestion.

In fact, the good news is that I passed this certification exam without even touching the environment and having a AWS account :D This means that there is chance that you can also pass this certification exam with almost 0 yoe. Though I do not suggest following my path if you do not want to take risk.

Learning all the basics

I honestly hate staying still in front of the screen watching all tutorials. This is why I prefer reading docs and written materials to skim through. I found this save extremely a lot of time and effort and most importantly, did not get me bored. Therefore, I just downloaded the slides from Stephane’s Udemy course and spent around 2 hours to study the material.

Don’t worry, just around 500 Powerpoint slides. This material provides me all the information regardings AWS services, billing and pricing and basics of cloud computing.

I do believe that at this initial state, you can use whatever material that suits you the most to gain the understanding of AWS services…
