#88 Early age AI’s Dark Side: Unleash Chaos and avoid being read like an open book

I recently discovered the book “I, Human: AI, Automation, and the Quest to Reclaim What Makes Us Unique” by Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic while browsing the local library website using the keyword “Human.” Interestingly, I had initially intended to search for the book “The Laws of Human Nature,” but I opted for the shorter query “Human” due to my own nature of being god dang lazy. Yup, the title sounded catchy enough and I borrowed the book. Well I know this sounds kinda ridiculous but this is how I met “the book”.

As soon as I began delving into the book, I realized that it was packed with numerous valuable insights to me that I couldn’t wait to share with you in this story. Specifically, the book highlights how AI has the potential to disrupt and is already disrupting our everyday lives.

We are not all-rounded experts after all

Defining an expert can indeed be challenging, especially when individuals self-proclaim expertise. Nevertheless, on social media platforms, we often project a strong sense of confidence and conviction in our opinions, effectively presenting ourselves as experts, regardless of our actual qualifications or knowledge on the subjects at hand. Then what does AI have anything to do with it?
